getready Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 One minor for accidentally pressing the horn instead of the indicator, other than that a really enjoyable ride once I got settled into it. I'll add a post to the mod2 thread later with more details.Well chuffed, and I'm off out on my shiny GSR now for a spin. Quote

getready Posted April 18, 2011 Author Posted April 18, 2011 Thanks everyone! Hope to see a few more Mod2 passes over the next few weeks from others on the forum.I've had a fair old blast this weekend on my new bike and done around 250 miles already, the sense of freedom is amazing, especially having no instructor buzzing away in my ear I've also found out how uncomfortable riding on the motorway is , needless to say all my future routes will avoid motorways unless absolutely necessary! getready Posted April 20, 2011 Author Posted April 20, 2011 got any tips ?Just relax (I know, easier said than done!!), treat the examiner as a sat nav and ride as you normally would. They are looking for a safe, confident rider so don't rush your manouvres/checks or do anything daft or unsafe.I settled into the ride after the first few minutes and the nerves just went away, so if you can get through the first five mins without incident, you'll give yourself a great chance.Good luck mate.
