As a kid i was never interested in motogp, F1 was more attractive to me.

BUT

Since i started reading motorcycle newspapers and learning about the sport and have since followed it and watched this season so far i have just fallen in love with the sport.

I think they are all mental but brilliant. Its so action packed compared to F1, i love it.

So i advise any biker who has not tried motogp to give it a go. You will love watching the races. You never know what is going to happen, its great.

Not just MotoGP, but WSBK, BSB.

If you think the GP guys are nutters watch some IOM TT, Northwest 200, Bush Road Races (went to see this 2 years ago). They have nuts & bolts missing and maybe a screwdriver too

I was also an f1 nut in the past when the racing was good wheel to wheel stuff and the drivers were not sponser whores and had some charcter!

If the racing was still like that now I wouold still watch but unfortunatly it isnt, thing is motogp is becoming similar fortunatly we can relate to the skill involved and with the machines being smaller they can ride closer.

However for close racing I prefer wsbk, however bsb I just cant get into anymore, if there was nothing else on and I had some time I would probably stick it on.

I stopped following F1 when Mansell left.

BSB was good last year with the new scoring system (sort of) preventing someone running away with it. It went right to the wire and Hill literally threw himself into winning, which didn't pay off. This looks like it's gonna be a big scrap too.

I used to love watching senna, prost and mansell!

Then followed Damon Hill and Shoemakers battles with Hakkinen think by then it was on a decline!

I am watching it for the first time this season and have to say having now ridden it makes all the difference. I can really appreciate the difficulty of what they do. Truly immense!
