New blow up tents

Recommended Posts

Yeah the price is insane!

If these prove to be efficient then other ppl will start to make them and the price will drop through the floor.

They are far to expensive as it stands

If its just a big fat gimmick with major issues getting it back in the bag then it will stay expensive and wont be worth buying.

Vango kit is pretty good and their more expensive tents have always been excellent, you still see the occassional Force10 tent at rallies and they are 20+ yrs old, so I reckon there shouldn't be any issues with folding up post use. If they catch on the price should drop

PS I dont work for Vango lol just after 25+ yrs of rallying I know who makes good camping kit and you have to pay for quality

Alex the inflatable bit is where the poles usually go, not on the bottom, so risk of punctures should be very low.

That said, if you did get one while packing away you're screwed, at least if a pole snaps you can gaffer it. I'm also not convinced about how rigid they would be in the wind. Will reserve judgement on quality until I've actually seen one, though at that price I don't think I'll be seeing to many any time soon.

Vango do make good tents though so would expect good things from them.

Why don't you all look them up properly as they have been designing and testing these for years and are as good a a tent with poles also they aren't easy to puncture and they are a honeycomb design so if they do puncture they won't go down ;-)
