Ok so I've used suggestions from TC and BMF's best rides to work out a route, the first half is a bit boring though second half should be brilliant. If anyone has a suggestion for an alternative or would like us to make a slight detour to meet up just post a message.

If the amount of beer in that stream is going off how many names and people are going, we had better hope to God it doesnt rain hard - our dam might resemble the Hoover :)

We need more wood for the fire lol

Did we agree on a figure to cover costs?

I'm going Friday till Sunday so I will gladly give enough to cover my expenses, i guess £20 for the full weekend will cover coal food wood etc?

I would do, but I'm not insured for it.. You can always go pillion on my knee when we have the camp fire, assuming Kersh isnt using it lol

Trish has been working out the costs to the penny.

We had 3 ideas.

1:Just charge per item at cost so a cup of tea would be 25p and a portion of stew would be 60p (lol closer to the fire you get the more wood you have 2 buy :)

2:We just get the figure as correct as we can which came to £15 per head for the weekend which included wood for the fire + food

3: call it £20 per head for the weekend and the left over goes towards the forum. Should easy make the forum £50 and make sure we don't go out of pocket.

What do you think folks?

Posted

I really don't wanna have to worry about oweing you guys 25p here and there especially if i'm drinking so i'd rather give you 20quid and know my food and heat is covered.

Individual pricing will cause far to much hassle and stress. Considering your doing us all a massive favour i have no issues with giving you 20quid straight up to cover all the costs.

a straight £20 sounds like more than a fair price... is there a cost for the campsite too ? i might have missed that bit ,

Posted

Put me down for the £20 thing. As long as you let trish cook gareth (You were crap last year).

Camping fees will be payable seperate Cat i think last year it was £4-5 a night

Afraid I'm going to have to drop out of this one :( finances aren't brilliant and I've an exam in first week of sept which is extremely important
