Remy
I thought long and hard about this and couldn't really think of anything I really wanted to do, so I must be pretty satisfied with my lot! I've been lucky enough to have achieved a lot of what I wanted in life - my biggest dream from childhood was to live in the countryside with lots of animals and now I do.One thing I'd like would be to spend Christmas away from home, somewhere remote with a log fire, by a beautiful lake and have christmas dinner cooked for me. I always have family round and cook for them, but much as I love them it would be nice to have just one time to myself! That sounds a bit selfish and I'm not really complaining .. I'd like to do a beginner's track day to improve my confidenceBe able to ride out on my horse without her having major heart attacks at nothing (it hurts when you hit the deck at my age, esp on concrete! )A few more personal ones that I can't mention LOL! bigsisterbiker
Be happy.Only problem is figuring out exactly what to do to achieve that. Well said! i've done a couple of things i'd always wanted to, but my list changes all the time of stuff i'd like to experience.couple of constants, though. go to antarctica and hawaii being two.been to africa, skydived, and been in a helicopter (take sea sick tablets beforehand ) abeiling, death slide, seen a manatee, caving and got my bike licence, so i'm doing ok.not crossed the equator yet though.and i'm off on a cross country bike ride on sunday that i've been wanting to do for a few years. finally got off by bum to do it also been midnight skinny dipping in the atlantic. not on the list but a right laugh oh and jumped off the arse end of a frigate to swim in the med. that was very cool swimming where there's no chance of hitting bottom and there's an incomprehensible depth of water under you isn't for everyone, but i enjoyed it, fear of the unknown and all
Aaron
go to antarctica ... Have you ever looked into going to Svalbard during the autumn time/early spring? Much easier to achieve and I suspect just as satisfying. Highest concentration of polar bears on the planet too.
Aaron
Err.... bizzarely i just saw on the news, at nearly 2 in the morning, that a kid got killed (today?) by a polar bear on svalbaard Now that's probably the BIGGEST coincidence ive ever experienced.
