Hi all, I have just bought this

too do up a little over the winter and to use when i pass my mod 2 .have done a few bits to it but noticed today after fitting new handlebars that if i grip the front wheel with my legs and pull on the bars that the front wheel moves and stays of center advice desperately needed please .steve

do you do that with the two large nuts on the tops of the forks,under the h/bars ?

If that was in reply to my post, sorry I deleted it because I wasnt sure if my advise was right lol.

I said about it may be the yokes not being tight if its not the bearings

Basically you do them up with the bolts next to the forks on the yokes, not the bits on top of the actual forks. May be worth checking first because its easy and free, although I think the bearings are more of a likely answer

Edit: and after re-reading your post and actually reading the part saying the wheel stays out of place :oops: then I change my mind to as eab says - its most likely the yokes rather than bearings
