Jive
I have an 05 R6 and noticed tonight the rear suspension felt really spongy and noticed a leak from the bottom of the fairing. Rode it back and felt every bump, the garage floor is covered in fluid. Will have a good look tomorrow in daylight and post pictures but just wondered whether i'm initially looking at a seal or possible new shock? If it is a new shock is it an easy job to do? megawatt
Some suspension repair companies can replace seals and re-gas/re-oil your shock. Changing the shock is an easy , but fiddly job. Shocks aint cheap though!

Roadtorque
A rebuild is only as good as the person doing it,, I'd go for new,, it's a piece of mind thing,,,,,,,,,
