See here: http://www.abbastands.co.uk/product_details.asp?id=1

I'm thinking of getting one because [a] my bike doesn't have a centrestand, I can't fit a centrestand without removing the bellypan and [c] a centrestand is ridiculously expensive for my bike!! (£60 more than the Abba stand).

So, do you use one? Do you rate it?

I don't want to get one, find that it only fits under the bike with a lot of wiggling and swearing, and then the bike falls off it! Lol!

These are the best stands you can buy mate. Bike won't fall off if you use the correct adaptors and if you wanted to, you could change your rear shock. Can't do that with a normal paddock stand.

How did you do that then? You have welding equipment, I presume? I don't have anything like that, so I think I'll go for the Abba. Megawatt - I watched the vid on the website, it looks very easy to use.

Drawings! Lol no I don't work off drawings I just get down and do it although mine was just knocked up in about an hour my brother made one for his bike and is better will see if I can get some pics

Although they are both bike specific you could easily make one for your bike

No probs Alan......probably not before the weekend though as it's dark when I go to work and dark when I get back...

I'll get it from as many angles as I can, and close-ups on the important bits.....

Cheers mate, I bought some 25mm square bar for another job that didn't happen, so I might as well make one of these. Been meaning to for a while

I got one for the ZZR1400 a few months back. Only used it once or twice so far but it seemed like a great bit of kit and very easy to use and very stable. Definitely recommend it over normal paddock stands thats for sure.

I had one for the CBR

Great stands, alot better and more stable than a Paddock stand

I find that the paddock stand can slip around and scratch the bottom of the swingarm. I solved that by tying two cut lengths of old bicycle inner tube around the cups that fit under the swingarm.
