Well it got running really well and then I put it all back together and hooked up the tank with a few litres of fuel in and it started to run sh1t again. Think the pressure from the flow of fuel from the tank may have just dislodged some bits of crud in the fuel transfer lines ont he carbs and got sh1t in them again so need to take them off and thoroughly clean them yet a-fooking-gain.
