Delay between twisting throttle and bike reacting

Hi guys,

Just a quickie!

Recently done my first ever major (well major for me anyway) service on the bike and rode it to work this morning and have noticed a delay between rolling on the throttle and the bike accelerating - no weird sounds from the engine or any weird vibrations just this slight delay of about a second.

In the service I changed the air filter to a K&N, fitted new spark plugs and change oil/oil filter.

I'm assuming i've cocked one of these up, but any ideas which one?

Cheers!

plus one - and don't go pushing hard 'til you change it back just to be on the safe side. K&N will often suggest what size jet you might need (if at all) when changing to their filters. You might even see a small rise in running temp in worst scenario.

Is it the gsxr750 in your profile ? If so its fuel injected so forget up jetting as above it would need a power commander

As suggested try the old filter back in also check to make sure the air box is sealed tight to and on the throttle bodies properly too
