Your organised arn't you? Great! Looks like theres not many active members (who are or will be riding) when the weather picks up?Won't be out this Sunday as I won't be putting the bike on the road until 1st of April, hence that being the 1st ride out (see other thread)If you do go out this Sunday, have a good one. TC Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 There are a a few that ride through the winter and just ride solo.Others just like warm weather dry roads. Me personally do about 5-6k miles a year all over the uk. If someone wants to join me they can if not i go on my own,This is the most active Bike forum i have been on. Thats one off the reason's i stay on itWhat do you actually mean by 'active members' Riders, contribrute to the forum, organise rideouts/meets/rallies, This forum has many members that contribrute actively to the forum and peoples fun throughout the year. Graham Posted March 7, 2012 Author Posted March 7, 2012 Yes of course & really I should have been more specific, sorry.Active members, I was meaning those that ride their bike for pleasure purpose on a regular basis & really more specific those that do from now-ish/end of March onwards. That said I understand there are those that are members that don't ride etc & nothing taken away from those whatsoever.Graham Quote
Devans Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 quite a few of us from the area. get yourself on the next meet up. Think Rutland water on easter sunday is the first one. awesome laugh! Quote
Devans Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 There isn't a set place we all meet up. But we do go on regular rides and meets in different places. Like i said Rutland water is one on Easter sunday, i can't go but loads are. Tag along Quote
GazW Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 I ride a lot, been a personal thing up untill now but recently I really wanna start riding in groups, feel like I could learn a lot. I remember when I passed my first CBT at 17 and I went out with my grandad (no longer rides unfortunately) and he is an ex police biker. I learnt more in that hour than I had done in the months preceding. Quote

hammer5 Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 Are new members not allowed to ask informative questions? How are they to interact exactly, by sitting looking at the screen awaiting someone to ask them a direct question?Maybe new members should not interact & just post a hi & location info then filter back into non existence, just to make the membership total look impressive??? Graham Posted March 10, 2012 Author Posted March 10, 2012 I've been following a few of your posts since you joined on the 3rd March Graham......................You do like to ask lots of questions don't you Why don't you just post up some rides and see how it goes. You'll soon get a feel for how many "active" riders there are and whether they ride fast enough for your ride outs Lots of questions, how many are these? For someone who's new to the forum (me) I really don't understand where your coming from?I'm mearly joining in by posting just afew (yes a few posts) that actually may be of benefit to other members, so unless you can say something positive about such I would kindly ask you to withdraw from interfeering on a post/s of mine. Thank youGraham Quote
