Hi folks,

Was riding through the clyde tunnel earlier and I spotted a newish looking road sign that I have never seen before. It was a white square with a black border and the letter D on it. I've had a look at the signs in the highway code but cant find any reference to letters, only that the white rectangle is an information sign.

so...any clues as to what it might mean?

Its a tunnel restriction code and its aimed at vehicles carrying dangerous goods, it tells them if they can go through or not :)

(At least that is my interpretation of what the Consolidated Resolution on Road Signs and Signals report says!)
