Benn
http://www.rhul.ac.uk/aboutus/newsandev ... ldren.aspxStumbled across this article which is definitely worth a read. Basically it's saying that children can't judge speeds of oncoming traffic. I read elsewhere (I can't remember where, or I'd share it) that kids can't tell the difference between a car traveling 20mph and a car traveling 40mph. Just thought I'd share - sharing never hurts, even if most people do already know. Also, as usual, I couldn't think of a decent title
mailee66
that was on the TV the other night on 'Bang Goes the theory' it stated that children up to about ten and old people over the age of 70 have the same problem, they couldn't distinguish between a vehicle doing 20mph and one doing 40mph Mind you kids can run a lot faster than a 70 Year old. Roadtorque
Judging by the number of drivers pulling out of side roads in front of bikes, seems its not just kids
Joeman
Glad to see something useful came out of my old university... none of the "research" i conducted there could be deemed constructive
