cant decide whether or not to paint the airbox to match the engine or leave it faux chrome? what do you think? I already have the paint so it wont be an expense just cant decide what to do.

Personally, unless you're going to completely de-chrome it,

I wouldn't.

I'd have left the wheels chrome too!

they were quite pitted and rusting all the time, bike lives outdoors so got fed up of cleaning them :D

That is in the planning stage! Planned to do at start of this year but have had job issues.

Will probably leave it, just couldnt decide whether or not it would look better. here is a before picture, I have repainted the engine & forks along with the wheels.

looks much better now. I think the chrome helps with creating a flowing line down the side of the bike.

thing is the cruiser style of bike is meant to have far to much shiney stuff on it losing some wont hurt but i wouldnt lose it all unless u plan on never reselling the bike as all it does is make it harder to sell on due to it not having the said bling

good point. I am leaving it as is, as I said before, the reason I did the wheels (and pipes) is that they were pitted and prone to rusting, I think it looks better now than before though :D
