Peter Pan restoration

Hi all,

I know you won't be used to seeing this kind of request on here but we're trying everything we can to find out about this bike's original spec.

My mate Dave is an old retired biker in his seventies who restores/rebuilds any kind of vintage bike and has many examples of his work in museums in UK, USA, Canada and Australia - if he can't find a part, he makes one - that's how good he is.

Anyhow, one of his contacts in Scotland gave him an old 'Peter Pan' electric moped in amongst a job lot of demics and because he had never heard of one, he started work on it. He's tarted it up a bit and got it running with two Suzuki car batteries connected in series, contained in the central pod but we'd really like to know more about it - year of manufacture, original battery spec and configuration, etc so it can be turned out like brand new.

We think it's Chinese, manufactured by a company called Fortune Import and Export but they don't reply to any form bof contact.

Can you help two old guys out, please?

I do wonder if this thread is an elaborate way for the spammers to get their link posted!

So instead of posting the link themselves, they ask a question that results in someone else finding, and posting the link for them!!
