Gazza7682 Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Hi allJust wondered if anyone can recomend a heater for the garage as its getting quite chilly when working on my project. Thanks in advance guys Quote
acting_strange Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 You don't want any kind of gas heater (propane etc) as they produce masses of condensation....I used to have a Dimplex oil filled radiator in mine and that seemed ok... Quote
Joeman Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Since your garage is probably not well insulated, trying to heat the air is pointless.Instead get an InfraRed heater that heats surfaces (like you!) Quote
Chrissb6 Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 I can recommend this one blows hot and cold hopefully we will soon be test the cooling side/! of it http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3KW-INDUSTRIA ... 35cdef9f2eHandy also to vent the place when l've been running the motor or welding lol Quote

Stu Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 I use a huge space heater and don't have rivers!!! Infact I dont even notice any more condensation It heats the place up quickly and end up turning it off after about 20 mins! Quote
littlecat Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 I just use a small electric fan heater and make sure its pointing straight at me Quote
Adam Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Put a coat on or move the project into the lounge.. Quote
