Kevin Cafe Racer Posted June 14, 2018 Posted June 14, 2018 Thank you me old mate! I'll have a look next Tuesday then. Can you tell me what a 'FLFBS' stands for? I'm thinking of buying a Harley in the near future and need to learn all the different models, of which there seems to be so many!! Cheers, Kevin Quote
Grumpy Old Git Posted June 14, 2018 Posted June 14, 2018 No idea! But, it is the 2018 Harley 'Fat Boy' with the 114 Engine. Quote
Kevin Cafe Racer Posted June 14, 2018 Posted June 14, 2018 OK many thanks. A 114 engine - I guess that's cu inches, which means nothing to me, so will try to convert to cc !! I'm learning! Kevin Quote
mikestrivens Posted June 14, 2018 Posted June 14, 2018 The Harley website does the conversion for you:107 = 1745cc114 = 1868cc Quote
Kevin Cafe Racer Posted June 14, 2018 Posted June 14, 2018 Thanks - that a big engine and a lot of torque no doubt! Cheers, Kevin Quote
Grumpy Old Git Posted June 14, 2018 Posted June 14, 2018 Not as big as my previous 'steed' - Triumph Rocket III Quote
mikestrivens Posted June 14, 2018 Posted June 14, 2018 Yes I used to have a Harley Fatboy when I lived in London. It was brilliant for posing on the Kings Road especially with the Screaming Eagles. But in those days the brakes were rubbish and it is a very big heavy bike. I think the brakes have improved since. But they are really cool if that is your thing. The solid wheels and all the chrome take some looking after. But they do look fantastic and sound amazing. Quote
Tango Posted July 18, 2018 Author Posted July 18, 2018 Actually made it along there last night......a few pics of some of the bikes there...... Quote
Tango Posted July 21, 2018 Author Posted July 21, 2018 Which Yamaha, Hoggs ......there's an RD400DX, an RD350LC and an XS650C or the red and black one, which i think is a FZ8. ( or maye FZ6)..... The silver one is the 400DX, the black one with the red stripes on the tank is the 350LC and the plain black one with higher bars is the 650C ( I had one of those)...... Quote
Hoggs Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 Which Yamaha, @Hoggs ..... Oh you want concise questions? you've come to the wrong place... 350lc appears to be what I was after! Quote
