Right ill tell you guys every thing..

i have changed the stator/flywheel and the coil part for it

i also put a new coil on the moped also a new spark plug..

i have cleaned out the carb jets etc and pipes the lot got good spark also changed the cdi box.

the moped will bog out and will not tick over you also need to keep the throttle on to keep the bike running when you ride the bike it will have **** all power mabe as fast as walking past while its bogging.

when you let go of the throttle it will just turn off.

the bike sounds like its to much air.

i changed the oil and put little bit of oil in petrol tank..

i have also played with the tick over screw and air/oil screw on the carb.has made no differents.

the cdi box is un-restricted

coil is racing

racing exhaust

normal spark plug

normal fly wheel stator

main jet 83 -size

It maybe bogging down because you have too much air flow, try using the standard air filter. (if you have changed it).

You also said that you played around with the screws on the carb. You need to reset these back to factory settings because you wont know if you have fixed the problem if you have the carbs out of balance.

The CDI unit that you have, it might be a duff one.

Also, after which modification did you experience this?

I`m `guessing that you changed it all in one go?

My advice is to change everything back to standard and then replace each mod, one at a time.

i had no spark so i changed to new spark plug didnt work change to racing coil no change changed the cdi box worker first time arfter that small run i had on it didnt work again but still had spark then noticed my stator and magnet was very poor changed that and it starts but as my story tells you guys it not working right....

could it be a choke problem

carb setting problem

air fuel problem the cap full of 2 stroke in with my petrol problem ........

could be almost anything!

Too much 2 stroke oil is a possibility.

Also, if it's a 100 it's not a moped it's a scooter!

Take the plug out, take a photo of the end and upload.

The colour of the plug is a great indication of what's going on..

When wheel off ground it will still bog when full rev not full speed it can go then if u let go of throttle it will die

Need to show us a photo of the spark plug.. Need to see if it's all black or nice brown colour.

I reckon you have a problem with your carb settings and your ignition timing. Are you sure its the right CDI unit for the bike?

It's the right cdi code to code but it's deresticted if spark plug black what shell I do ...

I don't no the factory settings on my card any ideres what settings to do I will take pic when at my mums it's there been worked on

Is the spark plug that is black, wet or dryish?

I would suggest that a compression test would be the first test to find the cause.

If the compression is low, then a top end job would be considered as a cause.

If the test numbers are good then you would want to look for other causes, like being too rich or a float setting or a leaking seal.

Or you may even have too much oil in your mixture>

Considering that you recently changed the jets, I`d think the you need to get the setting right on the carb.

Maybe the jets that you installed are incorrectly sized?

my jets atm are a stranded 83 size. compression is fine i put 1.lt of oil in my oil bottle and 1xcap in with my petrol...

so the bike has small amount of oil going to the piston for the oil to have a chance to reach.

im going to upgrade my jet today and turn mixture screw on 2/3/4 turns same for tick over screw.to see if this makes any diff what i will do is 2day take picture of the spark plug and phone record what my bike is doing :).

Then you're running mega rich. Put it all back to standard and start from there.

Posted

set the mixture screw 1 1/2 turns out from being fully wound in then as the bike is running slowly move it out or in a fraction untill the runing smooths out

Posted

if its nothing to do with the carb then there is a good chance its the ign plate on the engine and /pr the cdi being incorrect giving a signal to fire at incorrect time hence plug showing up as black and its refusing to rev correctly but first get the carb set right with mixture and tickover and see what happens
