Riding without down pipe

If I was a car driver, I would run you over!

I was following a scooter without downpipes the other day and my ears were bleeding. If you did that on a ER6n...

Plus, doesn't the bike need it for backpressure anyway? Thats why you have to dyno it if you put an aftermarket full system on?

I wouldn't mate....the bike will be silly loud and attract the wrong sort of attention....and it'll probably run like poo too.....

:stupid: Your running a fire risk never mind the noise which for sure will result in a fine. I don't suppose for a minute you've tried it?

Fine, vehicle default rectification form (= re-MOT), contrary to Construction and Use regulations therefore no insurance therefore points.

All in all a silly idea. Why do you need to run without anyway?

Thanks for all replays.

you'll melt all that precious cabling that hangs down just where your down pipes are.. not advised.

are you a victim of the cursed er6 downpipe failure?

Yes i am. First it cracked and i couldn't get myself to fix it. So after some time down pipe broke complete and was hanging there. And yesterday on the way back from work it snapped and i lost it while driving. :|

Already ordered new one so will get it done over weekend.
