Dodgy front brake

I noticed the other day when I pull my front brake it doesn't engage smoothly, the best way to describe how it feels is it's like a kangaroo hopping. I did notice the other day when I had the wheel off that the pistons in the caliper weren't pushed out equally so do they need a rebuild? If so is it an easy job to do?

Cheers :)

I'd say warped disk too. A warped disk will give the sensation of the brake lever pulsating. Does that sound about right?

If you have some brake cleaner lying around, it may be worth cleaning them before you do anything else. I doubt it will fix the issue, but its alway worth making sure things are maintained perfectly before replacing bits and pieces.
