Jack5r Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Are these any good? Do the damage the leather at all.http://www.amazon.co.uk/Collonil-Waters ... B001O5O4L6I want to use with my jacket and suede boots. Quote
Throttled Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 I have never used that product, but if I needed leather spray I would buy it. There are 66 positive reviews (59 are 5 and 4 stars) by people who have. Quote
Joeman Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 My leather jacket is perforated and has cloth stretch panels so no amount of spray will make it waterproof! Quote
Glorian Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 If it's black leather a friend said just use boot polish over it. Quote

Adam Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 A set of waterproofs under your seat would be much more effective. Quote
Guest Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 never used anything like that.. over the years a decent quality saddle soap has been my cleaner and to an extent proofer of choice. i say to an extent because no proofer will stop water penetrating the stitching.. especially if you're riding a motorcycle through the rain, heavy rain.if you insist on wearing leather in the rain.. either splash out on leather with a bonded gore-tex layer (2nd mortgage time).. or cover up with waterproofs. nothing else will keep you dry in a heavy downpour. certainly nothing that sprays on.. I couldn't care less what these handbag owners say in the reviews. and boots? have practically zero in common with a leather jacket. Quote
