Waterproofing spray for leather

Recommended Posts

never used anything like that.. over the years a decent quality saddle soap has been my cleaner and to an extent proofer of choice. i say to an extent because no proofer will stop water penetrating the stitching.. especially if you're riding a motorcycle through the rain, heavy rain.

if you insist on wearing leather in the rain.. either splash out on leather with a bonded gore-tex layer (2nd mortgage time).. or cover up with waterproofs. nothing else will keep you dry in a heavy downpour. certainly nothing that sprays on.. I couldn't care less what these handbag owners say in the reviews. and boots? have practically zero in common with a leather jacket.
