mole81
I need a rear tyre on my 2007 honda cg 125, i don't have owners manual or much of a clue! What do I go for and do they have to be changed both at the same time?
Stu
No they dont but ideally you want a matching set IE same brand and model

mole81
Ok gonna get bike booked in to be checked over so will sort at same time any recommendations for tyres or ones to avoid?
Stu
well if your only sticking a rear on then make sure it matches the front but if your replacing both michelin pilot roads are good if they do them in your size
mole81
Ok thanks is there about running in new tyres too...?
Invisible_Man
Use Metzler ME22's. Cheaper and imho better. Take it easy for a 100 miles to scrub them in.....not difficult on a 125;-) CheersIM
GazW
Michelin pilot sporty, specifically designed for smaller capacity bikes. I put a set on my cg and they transformed it. Decent grip in wet and dry and a more rounded profile than others I tried, this made the transition from upright riding to leaning much smoother. I can't recommend them enough.
