Throttled Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Last year (or maybe the year before) Balmoral castle was on the list. When I arrived I just rode right up to the entry kiosk and asked if there was a view to take a photo. They said no, but the nice man moved a sign for me and cleared some tourists so I could get a photo to show I had been there. Part of the challenge is to be creative and get as good a photo as you can. There should be bonus points for anyone who can talk their way inside one of the castles!! Quote
Valko Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 so hows this work? Register herehttp://www.themotorbikeforum.co.uk/view ... 12&t=55353by choosing a number, put the number on a piece of paper so it can be displayed on your bike when you are stopped. Ride your bike to the tags that are places of interest all over the UK. Photograph your bike with its number and the tag. Get 10 points for each tag completed and bonuses for completing regions. Enjoy riding new roads and seeing new parts of the country. I will try this, it sounds fun What exactly are the rules? I do see some pictures posted with a number and the challenge without a bike on the photo is that fine? Quote
Grumpy Old Git Posted February 22, 2016 Author Posted February 22, 2016 There is a 2016 discussion thread as well as the 2016 registration thread (which gives you the rules).Picture without the bike is OK (as some places, you may not get near enough with the bike) - In these cases, either take a 'selfie' with your Tag Number and the 'Tag' in the same picture or (I find this easier) get a passer-by to take the picture with you in it (etc.).
