Outdoor covers.

Recommended Posts

Looking for a decent waterproof cover for my motorcycle as it's left outside.

I'd prefer a cover over a £200+ shed as i can use a good cover while i go to friends and stay there, or when i visit family/move home.

My last cover has vanished so i guess it's blown away some where never to return.

Has anyone tried these covers? R&G covers where it covers all the motorcycle and zips up?

Im curious if i can still chain my motorcycle to ground anchors efficiently.

I have that R&G Adventure, which has cut outs to put the chain through. There are clips to secure it under the bike, but I use a cheap ratchet strap out of B&Q to wrap round it. Mine recently survived being blown off the bike and ending up in a neighbours garden. I am sure your bike will fit the "Superbike cover", the adventure one will trail onto the ground and get very wet.

Honestly I bought mine from Aldi.

It was around a tenner and I still use it. There are loops in the centre which I put a carabiner through.

I guess the only downside is the fact it has a clear bit of plastic which shows the number plate.

It's fully waterproof aswell and reaches below the tyres.

I use the R&G covers, they are pretty good.

before buying my current ones I decided to 'upgrade' to an oxford stormex which looked and felt great but was a terrible fit for my bikes. I still have it as postage was too much to send it back. Its still up for grabs if anyone is interested! Medium size, might fit an er6! ;)
