Stu Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Over the years and many different earplugs I have found these to be the best and comfiest for me http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3M-EAR-Soft-F ... 19ded718bf they are the highest SNR I have seen at 39db they are really comfy too and easy to insert Quote
Zulueleven Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Again I have to agree with Stu they are the most comfortable and kill the noise, best bought in bulk works out a lot cheaper Quote
fq-craigus Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Raid the door pocket of a highway maintainence vehicle and nab a few pairs every now and again that they use for the jack hammer. Thats what i do Quote

dazziep Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 I tried the cheap disposable foam ones last night and the were really good.. Quote
Guest Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 I tried all sorts of plug but could never get a good fit. I appear to have unusually shaped canals.I have now used Ultimate moulded plugs for many years, and they work. Quote
Joeman Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Problem I find with moulded plugs is that if they move very slightly the seal breaks and all the noise comes in.I much prefer the spongy ones when installed correctly. Sometimes takes a couple of attempts but once there are in, everything is peaceful. Quote
