My charming lady friend has given me one, 3 weeks prior to an operation that will leave me feeling like shite as well.

Seems something is going around!

Best option, keep drinking water, have a beer or a glass of wine with an evening meal as it thins the blood and makes you more relaxed so you get a more restful night sleep, keep up with eating meals, a bit of light exercise and you will motor through it quicker.

The faster you can make your metabolism, the better.

A warm brandy works a treat too!

Non-alcoholic remedies I recommend...

I usually take Beacham's hot lemon powder mixed with water, but would it taste better and cure the cold quicker if it was mixed with JD instead??
