Winter Gloves with protection

Recommended Posts

Sorry, I'm sure this has been asked heaps of times.

I've been ok so far with a pair of thin, waterproof mountaineering gloves under a pair of summer leather gloves with proper knuckle protection. The other week they let me down, it started raining ten miles from my destination and by the time I got there I could hardly feel my hands - unsafe as well as miserable.

What does anybody suggest to keep my hands warm as well as protected if I come off? At a reasonable price - I know they won't be cheap but I don't really want to spend £100 or more.

Thanks.

Heated grips... I am a bit of a newbie and a previous sceptic, but they are fantastic! Well under your £100 budget if you install yourself. I'm sure you can get lower current draw ones for 125's aswell.

I got a pair of Alpinestars WR-V goretex gloves last year, very happy with them - keep the rain out perfectly (as one would expect) and keep the cold out nicely too. No issues with freezing hands when riding over the past few weeks! £70 on Sportsbikeshop.com, well worth the money in my books.
