battery conditioning

does anyone use a solar battery charger/maintainer and if so what one and is it any good?. as i have no power out to my shed and am not allowed to put power out there by the landlords otherwise i would get a normal mains powered one

Optimate do one. It's supposed to be good but not tried myself.

I use a few smallish panels wired together to keep my garage lighting battery topped up as well as charge the bike batteries now and again.

Been going for a few years now without using a mains charger. It's unregulated and can reach 19V on a sunny day but nothing has gone bandy yet.

Can't you not bury a cable to the shed and hide it . I would be tempted to do this and not bother telling him
