Where to bulk buy service parts?

Bikes running a bit lumpy, I've got an intermittent fault with headlight not coming on unless I restart the bike and sometimes my right indicator doesn't work. Not to mention the tyres aren't the best brand.

I would like to do a bulk buy and get the bike totally sorted for my first summer, everything from new tyres to battery, oils etc. Only thing I don't need is a new chain, sprocket and bulbs as I've just bought all these (bulbs yet to be fitted).

Any advice?

A few questions:

 

• 1) Are these "high performance" "high torque" "light weight" batteries worth the extra?
  
  2) Would you recommend changing discs at the same time as pads?
  
  3) Which pads are better for 'general road use': "Standard (GG Type)" vs "Sintered (HH Type)"
  
  4) Does a Triumph TT600 need iridium plugs or not? (I didn't get a manual with the bike)

1. Yes .....motobatt is a good one to go for

2. No unless your discs are below the wear limit which I doubt they will be or they are warped

3. Sintered HH all the way

4. Not really but every little helps

Discs aren't warped but rear disc has a bit of a 'lip'.

Just a word of warning mate......as Bonniebird said in another thread, watch the fuel fittings on the underside of the tank.....The originals are plastic and are prone to failing when you take them apart......resulting in dumping your fuel all over the engine. Carefully disconnect the fuel line fittings, but be prepared to whack them back on quickly if a lot of fuel starts p*ssing everywhere.....

Not all garages let you do that as they miss out on a slice of profits from the parts. Best check first

It may well have already been replaced on your bike if you are lucky. Garages may have these anyway they are not a bike specific part

I've screwed up already, bought what is touted as being THEE best bulbs for bikes.. Went to replace mine this morning... Wrong bloody size completely... Anybody want them?

Those two are the same fitment... I'm assuming the one on the right is the old one.

My bad, they're the 2 I bought, the one out of the pack is the one I tried to fit. The one on the bike has 3 prongs and they're much more spaced apart.

The old bulb is back in the bike as it still works.
