Just a quick question for any legal brains on here.

I was in a music shop this morning, casually glancing at a row of Fender Telecasters, when the 20-year old shop assistant approached me and said "Yeah... They're dead good they are... Keith Richards plays one... Have you ever heard of the Rolling Stones?"

Some people will doubtless try to excuse this by pointing out that he was born at a time when Mister Blobby was in the charts, but my view is that this sort of imbecility needs to be punished. Mercilessly. So:

1. From a legal standpoint, what would constitute a reasonable amount of violence? My initial instinct was to demonstrate my familiarity with Keith's work by taking one of the guitars off the wall and smashing him in the face with it in a recreation of what happened to the guy who ran on stage during their 1981 American tour.

2. Would it have to be administered in the heat of the moment, or could I go back tomorrow and give him a good working over?

You should have just stared at him, and in the most retarded voice, replied, "Yeah I know them, but they went downhill when Robbie Williams and Jason Orange left".

You should of just started lecturing him on the pluses of staying in the EU .. I'm sure before you'd finished he'd be swinging from a rafter with the home made noose he made whilst you was boring the pants off him :D

Ah guitar shops. Both a pleasure and a pain. Here's a vid of what I play in guitar shops when I want to annoy one of the shop assistants. I pull out the Gary Moore lick at the end when they are about to take the guitar from me
