Hi all, got my first big bike a week ago (yay!). It's an er-6f 2011 in candylime green (he was the perfect compromise for the zx6r that I have always desperately wanted but hubby will not allow yet!).

Just a quick question though....it seems to blow really hot air on my legs...which is not fun when you're already overheating in leathers  is this normal? Or is there something wrong??

Well done on getting it,

the way the fairing is should divert the air around you

It will always be warm in traffic or stationary?

At least it will be a good feature for colder days...along with the heated grips :thumb:

you will notice the hot air more in this weather as the fan will cut in more often to cool the water in the radiator and it will be blowing out round your legs if the gauge is saying its at normal temp then it should be nothing to worry about

I have ridden a few bikes that seemed hot in summer

Then I got the FJR

Jesus that thing is like a furnace! the heat management is crap on the early ones but the newer are better!

Its good on cold days but not great in summer!

I wouldn't worry about it as long as the bikes not overheating :)

On days like today, mine's is like having a private oven under the seat.
