Best place to sell a bike?

Morning all. Wheres the best place to sell a bike apart from here of course!

I have stuck it on the usual suspects like Ebay, preloved, Gumtree but before I start shelling a ton of cash for advertising where have you lot found the most successful?

Gumtree, was gone in 2 weeks, which i wasn't expecting

Hi, usually stick mine on AutotraderMotorcycles or Mcn , remember E-bay take 10% commission so can be quite a lump out of the sale price

I've sold a few vehicles on Gumtree. They went within a week or two but you do get lots of time wasters.

rantmachines bmw was sold very quick on gumtree ............ but other places to advertise are piston heads preloved auto trader mcn ebay classified ad that way you just pay a one off fee like you do on autotrader or mcn

Thanks folks I will need to spend a few pounds advertising it then! once the new panniers arrive I will pop it onto MCN

Recent sale was done through 'fleabay' - it was on Autotrader but all I got was 'silly' offers and one 'tyre kicker'.

No time wasters on Gumtree with my BMW, ten minutes after the ad went up I got two calls and booked people in to view it the next day and the day after, first fella rocked up the following evening with a trailer and the full asking price in cash

any of those, just don't take anything other than a direct payment into your bank or cash.

Paypal and courier or anything else is scam territory. Also when showing people the bike, move it a few doors down or a road away from where you actually live until you know for 100% they're buying.

You probably already know this.
