Jogussy Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 Hi all, new to the site and having a bit of an issue with my 2015 Daelom VJ125 Roadwin R. My bike cut out whilst riding and won't start again. The EML is showing a fault with the fuel injector or injector circuit. The bike is trying to start but its like fuel isn't getting through. When first turning on the ignition key, the fuel pump isn't making its usual noise but don't know if the issue is with the pump or injector, etc. Any suggestions? I have had the fuel pump out and the motor is working when hooked up to the battery. Also had the fuel injector hooked up and this also seems to be working. Looked at the manual but it might as well be in a different language!! Sorry, I am a novice to this but keen to get it sorted myself! I am not a mechanic but i do have a bit of common sense and would like to know how to be able to sort it! Quote
Stu Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 2015 model? its still in warranty! Take it back to the dealer and let them sort the issue Quote
Tango Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 Yep....If it's still under warranty get it back to the dealer.Otherwise.....you say the fuel pump motor works when you hook it to a battery, but you can't hear it when trying to start the bike? How does it get its power on the bike....is it through a relay? It sounds like a wiring/ electrical issue....... Quote
Jogussy Posted August 8, 2016 Author Posted August 8, 2016 Thanks both for your help. Wasn't sure how long the warranty would last as I have bought the bike from the first owner, only 2 months ago. Going to give them a ring tomorrow and see what they say. Wish me luck! Quote
Jogussy Posted August 8, 2016 Author Posted August 8, 2016 Just a thought, the previous owner didn't turn up for his first service at 600 miles. Will the warranty be void......? Quote
Mr Fro Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 I'm with Bob - I'd be checking fuses and wiring. Quote
ThePhatomfart Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Hi Jogussy , does your bike have an alarm, if it does which one, and what codes are showing on the MIL Quote
