When i chuck my old lump back in its fine ... iv also used 3 dif carbs .. il go out and check timing and valve clearance . Thanks you your help and any more things to try is very welcome .... this bikes starting to do my head in now lol

If you can find the specs check to see if the timing advance and ecu stats are the same for 06 and 09 models ...

Good set of ears ya got there mate im more after the way its revin : . Up date ... timing is fine VC is fine . Stilling looking into timein advance specs and cdi but so far hitting a wall

you need to try and find out if cdi part number is the same for both years if its not chances are its all set up different........forget that both part numbers seem to be the same so its back to cam timing or ign pick up timing point
