Hi everyone, I'm adding some spot lights and USB charger to my Son's bike (varadero) and I want them to have power only with ignition on , so lights will be going through a relay ,can anyone tell me if USB charger can go through the same relay. Or do I even need a relay any advice appreciated.

You should be able to run the USB charger socket through the same relay, assuming the total current doesn't exceed the relays rating..... 8-) USB sockets can draw a small amount of current even with nothing plugged into them, so running it through a relay is generally a good idea.....

Relay (fused) every time - better safe than sorry!

How to wire it all up is/has been posted on t'forum a couple of times - I even provided 'Maplin' part numbers once.
