Mawsley
My 2cents:Disk locks are an utter waste of money - just buy a second chain. And alarms/immobilisers go wrong on motorways and in your drive - I'll never have another.

And alarms/immobilisers go wrong on motorways and in your drive - I'll never have another. Thats a point.....One thing that hasn't been mentioned is that if you park near aerials and masts they can interfere with an alarm rendering your bike immobilised till you push it 100 yards away or more! It doesn't happen often but it does happenLike when we went to Germany we got off the ferry and one of the guys turned his bike off then had to push it through customs and about 200 yards before he could turn his alarm off he thought it was the end of his holiday before it even started
Joeman
Took my bike for MOT at the weekend.. alarm kept arming itself every 30 seconds and annoyed the hell out of the guy doing the test! Serves him right for not just signing it off as a pass
Mawsley
My immobiliser engaged on the Guzzi on the drive, call out to recovery types ensued.I've had one kick in as I was doing 75 in the fast lane too. Bloody lethal things.
