Mysteryman81 Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Evening all,I have an intermittent fault with my indicators front and rear. The bike is a bullit hunt 250cc.The indicators didn't turn on at all on my ride home from London last week. Then the next day they worked but we're flashing faster than usual and occasionally a constant flow.I looked.for a lose connection and pushed all the wires in and now they are back to flashing but much quicker than I remember.Has anyone has this issue before?I'm useless at attempting any repairs but if anyone is in the surbiton area that can assist or if anyone knows of a mobile mechanic I am hoping that it will be a straightforward repair. Thanks Andy Quote
Hoggs Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 iirc (which I probably dont) MOT limits are between 60 - 120 flashes a minute so if it's within that I wouldn't worry too much Quote
TimR Posted August 15, 2017 Posted August 15, 2017 Could be Flasher relay Dodgy earth connection Bulb has a loose filament When cold filament may create contact and work but as it heats up the filament will expand and curl and break contact ...cools down and works again Quote
