Hello all I have a issue with my cbf 125 on a 10 plate. The stator went on it sunday, luckily i had a spare knackered engine I brought from ebay for parts. After checking the stator on that which was fine on a continuity test it was swapped over to the bike. After using the bike for a couple of days starting fune every time I finished work last night put key in as normal an had both neutral an engine management light come on then go out as it should but when pressing the start button it just clicks any ideas as im at a loss. Cheers in advance folks.

This will get moved 'cos it's in the wrong place - but just clicking, first thing I'd check is the battery. The clicking is the solenoid engaging, but if the battery charge then the voltage will collapse as soon as the starter load hits it.

Mississippi bullfrog that what i think it is but am not too sure when my friend arrives with his metter was going to check it as had similar issue with thebcar few weeks ago. Thimk the old stator when it burnt out started to drain the battery to point of ruining a cell in it so it not able to fully charge.
