fastbob Posted January 26, 2018 Posted January 26, 2018 Looks like another one for for the Lexmoto electrical fault section. Quote
Tango Posted January 26, 2018 Posted January 26, 2018 You'll need a multimeter and wiring diagram......then just follow the live feed until it disappears.......but it sounds like the ignition barrel again......or possibly the starter relay, which I think is placed where rain water just runs into it and kills it..... Hello My Friend,I've had this issue before, when the bike was brand new.My problem was a loose main fuse on the positive terminal for the battery. I simply removed the fairing covering the battery, removed the fuse and pushed the two clips together at either end of the holder so that the fuse was much tighter.Never had a problem since.I hope this helps and please let us know how it goes!Best Regards,Stuart. iangaryprice Posted March 9, 2022 Posted March 9, 2022 Sounds as if the starter motor is the problem. I had problems with my GSX600, it would start but only just, turning over slow. Jump start with jump leads no better. I took starter off and looked inside. Brushes were worn down, only making contact with some of the rotor. New starter and it has been perfect since. Quote

Grumpy Old Git Posted March 11, 2022 Posted March 11, 2022 You can buy a set that is too large and then grind them to size - Did this for the Rocket (getting the starter motor out in the first place was a complete nightmare!) Quote
