Hi

I have a sinnis matrix 2 its just been for a servis been out on bike today and its started to stall when i pull up just woundering if anyone will no what the problem will be

did you bring it to their attention as part of the service? If so then previous comment stands. It sounds like a fuelling issue. Has it been left idle for a while?

Yes told them who did servis he checked the fuel line and said its ok put a new belt on dropped oil was ok when i drove it home just as we have been on a long ride it started gerking on full revs and lost power

I had a similar issue and was electrical there was a spark arcing from the spark plug lead onto the engine turned out to be a damp issue easily resolved. You could see the spark arcing when you looked at the lead

Check the clutch and idle speed adjustment. If the clutch is at its limit, you may not be totally disengaging gear and so it stalls. If the idle speed is too low, it can stall. Both are simple and need no tools;

Probably tic over screw needs adjusting, kept happening on my sinnis trackstar, is it really quiet ticking over before its warmed up and can cut out before you've even hit the road? Until you adjust it just keep a little throttle on at every light or junction etc and it wont die... just be careful cornering at slow speed cos if it stalls then you could end up going for a slide!

Could be the fact that it is a Sinnis and is not meant to last beyond the first service! :twisted:

Mine did :D over 8000 miles before i crashed n sold it, passed mot first time and is back on the road with new owner loving it :D its also faster than the other 2 ive had (honda cb125f & suzuki van van) hitting 80mph but did feel like itd fall apart from 65 upwards

:stupid:

The screw does have a habit of doing that every week after a long run I check and adjust it so could be a factor. I don't think u will have many big issues normally something daft
