Avey Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 Afternoon all,I bought a Honda CBF125 a couple days ago, after riding on a Sinnis Max 125 for a year. When I was buying the bike there didn't seem to be any issue and I rode it for a day or so without any issues. Now when turning at slow speeds, lets say 15 mph the bike seems to almost steer on its own, to the point where i have to counter-steer to prevent myself from turning too sharply. Could anyone tell me what the issue is? Or how i could go about fixing it? Quote
Mississippi Bullfrog Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 Have you checked the tyre pressures? Quote
Avey Posted April 30, 2018 Author Posted April 30, 2018 I have checked the tire pressure and it seems to be fine. Quote
fastbob Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 Definitely sounds like a tyre pressure issue . Have you checked both of them ? Quote
fastbob Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 I have checked the tire pressure and it seems to be fine. 25psi front 29psi rear ? Quote
megawatt Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 Check tightness of steering head bearings by lifting front wheel off the ground, holding bottom of forks from the front and pulling and pushing backwards and forwards. Should be virtually no movement. If there is a loud click the top bearing needs tightening. Quote
