manxie49 Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 Does anyone have an ALMAX chain, if so what do you think? I'm considering the Almax immobiliser series 3 with the SS65CS lock, will be using it at home and taking it with me in a pannier when I go away, 2m weighs about 8kg Quote

Stu Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 Cheers, Pewag was the other chain I was looking at, they both look good, and would hopefully give your walk by scrote something to think about I must say I am impressed by the quality I also have three locks for my garage from them which are the same as the ones they use on the chains They are huge compared to the current locks I have on the garage! so big I can't find any bolts for the garage with holes big enough for the locks! so currently they are useless You can also get them all keyed alike so one key will open them all if that's what you prefer Quote

Seem to work well but I don't live in an area overrun with bike thieves. It is heavy and gives a secure feel. I guess it's as good as any and better than some. Quote
