Troy Posted April 9, 2020 Author Posted April 9, 2020 (edited) Hows things going now some time has past since that day?Hope your coping well mate Things are ok. I don’t think I’ll ever truly forget. It comes to mind every time I get on the bike but like most things in this system, you just get on with it. I have to remind myself sometimes of the event because I find myself being careless otherwise... I didn’t know it was possible to have “too much” fun. Edited April 9, 2020 by Troy Quote
Guest Richzx6r Posted April 9, 2020 Posted April 9, 2020 Aye it will stay with you forever, and not wrong about you can actually have too much fun.My accident taught me that Quote
FallingDown Posted April 9, 2020 Posted April 9, 2020 I hope you're doing ok mate, you did everything anyone could have done. My brother and I were in a similar situation ourselves but the poor guys friends were so worried about causing a neck/spine injury they wouldn't let us touch him even though he clearly wasn't breathing.I highly recommend the Biker Down Course. They run them all over the country and its normally given by the fire brigade. It's totally free, guy wouldn't even accept my donation for the tea and biscuits fund. Friendly casual environment, no test etc and you even get a free first aid kit to keep in your bike. They aren't even surprised when you ask to sit in the truck like a 5 year old. They teach you how to manage the scene, move the casualty, helmet removal, CPR as well as practices to keep you safer when you are riding.Could be a bit nuts out there when we can go be out. Be safe everyone Quote
