Alternatively , use a small flat screwdriver and a twisting motion to slightly pry the female connector apart then gently crimp it closed again on reassembly . Quote

Any seemingly simple job involving motorcycles ought to result in cut hands, broken tools, tantrums and tears.If it seems to go smoothly you haven't understood the enormity of the situation. Quote
