paramotor simon Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 Hi all, So, I have found myself in a position where I want a Buell again as I had so much fun on the demo ones we had for a year or so. However, I want a bike that I can ride rather than park and look at for fear of not being able to get parts. What would you go for as a real and close alternative to the Buell XB12 to get that same 'feeling' that those who have ridden one with any amount of anger will understand Let say... £6-7K budget. Thanks in advance Quote

Thanks in advance I had a test ride on a Firebolt, it handled brilliantly, stopped on a sixpence & looked good.Problem I had is that I’m 6’2” and it was cramped. Also it ran out of revs & hit the limiter as I was making an overtake, it was like jamming the brakes on - squeaky bum time, my fault as I was used to an in-line 4 sports bike revving to 14k instead of the 7k of the Firebolt twin. Stu Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 Hmmm V twin hooligan machine! Something KTM or what about an aprilia tuono? The trouble with other bikes is they have a longer wheelbase than the Buell's so handling could suffer Quote

Guest Swagman Posted April 30, 2020 Posted April 30, 2020 As said if you really want a buell then that is what you have to get, don’t believe there is anything that would be the same. Quote
