Ok, not bike related....but....


You know the door locky fob button thing for ya car?


Well, think my battery is gonna die.....where do I go for a new un?

I suggest if it will comes apart, you look to see what battery is in it and order it form the web, they are normally watch batteries.


A lot of people go to the dealer and they can charge a small fortune.

My dad has a hearing aid, one of them might fit. Dont wanna be breaking it, cos im a bit dopey with stuff like that.


Wont go to dealer though, thank u :D

 

LOL, Well if all fails atleast it wont be your car remotes hearing :shock:

Errrr battery number?


That sounds complicated.....will need to know how to take the key apart first lol.


Better leave it til the morning :P

better get a battery ready before you pull the fob to bits as if its like the Astra one you've only a couple of minutes to swap the batterys over before it snuffs it-- :shock: :shock: :shock: so it says in the Haynes anyway.

To be fair, been too busy to think about it.


I know what will happen, I will keep forgetting and forgetting until one day, im stuck out in the sticks on me own and the fookin thing wont work!

ahhh im not sure then i work for ford but i can find out for you norm it involves splitting the key fob with a small screwdriver and them chuckin batterys in to be fair if you took you key to you local pug dealer and go into parts not the workshop side they will supply and sell you some batterys and if u give them a bit of cleverage they will even change them for ya!!!

Ok still waiting for the battery number...if its for a key fob remote will likely be 12v and I can get ya one for nowt..let me know :roll: :roll: Can post it to ya or bring it along on Sat :wink:
