Its all down to the way you ride, riders die even on mopeds at 30mph!

Whatever you decide to get, ride safely and enjoy yourself.

2 deaths I remember from last year, one in the test center which I have never seen before and one on a lesson.

I'm still in the camp of ride what makes you the happiest, if you get it wrong and don't like it fear not you can always change it.

Smaller bikes tend to be more nimble and easier to flick, but a big bike is much more relaxed on a run, if your going to rag a 600sport everywhere your still in licence loosing territory.

An r1 v r6 is going to be a couple of bike lengths, only way after 100 that the extra cc starts to make big gains.

0 to 100 r1 just under 6s, r6 just over.

Only you know what you want out of a bike.

I had a 2000 Yamaha YZF-R1. Best bike I have ever owned, I wish I still had it. ☹️

I rode all the way to the South of France in a day. When I got to my hotel I couldn't get my feet off the pegs quick enough, and at that point, in the hotel car park, we toppled over. No damage - only pride 😂
