StewpidNell Scol1 Snoopy plus possibly mrs and mate Technohamster and mate (if hes free to navigate for me) Sandra and daughter (will be with parents always ride out as a family) Sandra's dad and Mum Nickki n Bob (n Matt possibly) David Junk Monkey Mandy & fella - and very possibly Daz(green ninja) if he can get his missus to agree to a bit more speed so not lagging behind. Guest Nickki Posted July 6, 2007 Share Posted July 6, 2007 Sorry - me n Bob won't be comin now.We set off to Liverpool this morning at 7am, stopping off at 2 meeting places along the way for other bikers and it didn't stop hammering it down all the way there. We arrived at 10am and all my clothes were soaked under my (waterproof allegedly) textiles.On a good note, when we arrived at the house the sun came out and shined whilst we led the hearse to the church, and whilst we followed it to the graveyard (some 45 mins ride away!!)Just about dried off by the time we set off home at 5pm, but it rained solidly all the way home too and i was wet through again when we finally got home at 6.30pm.....So - sorry to cry off but the work that i postponed from today in order to attend the funeral, I need to do on sunday now Hope you all have a good day, but most importantly - ride safe!Nx Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Anyone from the north of the midlands area like me, wanna meet here then we will be leaving at 0915 ish. There is a big layby on the barlborough / mcdonalds side of the junction. We plan to ride through bolsover then either skirt chesterfield on to the A632 or go through clay cross and pick up the A615. Hopefully picking up a bacon butty en route. See everyone there. If any northerners want to meet here and follow us in you are very welcome, just beware of the archers in the trees lol, well you will be in robin hood country.
