Your lock, factory fit immobiliser and steering lock where engaged weren’t they?  So security devices where applied.  
 

Was it explicitly stated in the policy that heavy duty security devices used at home should be applied elsewhere?
As others have said read you t&c’s but look for loop holes as they do….
Most companies don’t know there own t&c’s that well..
