Guest nigelf Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 I have the V2 I only got it cos of the internal visor... its great BUT.. i ride a wing so that has a big barn door that stops most of the wind noise. They are heavy and noisy but cheap as chips.the BMW helmet cant think of the name has an internel visor but runs at 300 quid...Nigel Quote
Guest Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 Schuberth C2 has a secondary sun visor. Not cheap at just under £300, and, to my ear, very noisy. Quote
martynmcg Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 I know it's a bit late on posting this but I use a V2R on my SV and it's fine. The internal visor is great, not too heavy for me but it can be a bit noisy if you don't wear earplugs/earphones. Got mine for £100. Bargain if ever I saw one for my first helmetPlus it looks good I think Quote

Bargain if ever I saw one for my first helmetPlus it looks good I think finally got the v2r the other week after a few weeks wait due to supplier issues nice helmet, looks good & the internal visor is just so handy. stated as same size as the caberg trip, but feels tighter somehow (maybe as its full-face instead of flip-up). nose guard/breath deflector is a nice addition, and the visor removal is much more user friendly. doesnt seem to be any heavier than other helmets i've tried/owned. the only downside i can find is that i believe the wind noise is worse than the trip, but ok with plugs.
